Fee structure
Please note that membership fees are subject to change on an annual basis. The fees reflected below are those set at the FPEF AGM of 25th November 20111. Notification of successful application can take up to 3 months from the date of submission of the application form.
2. A possible once off administration fee of R2 500.00 or less can be charged for obtaining references and credit checks.
3. A. For existing exporter members there are two annual fees:
(i) Pallet fees of R1.37 per pallet, payable in arrears of the previous season. This is charged to all members once a year in December, regardless of when they joined.
(ii) A sliding scale fee, payable in advance of the financial year, depending on volumes exported the previous season, as follows:
(a) Less than 1% of the total country's export volumes: R8 250.00 + VAT;
(b) More than 1% but less than 2% of the country's export volumes: R11 000.00 + VAT;
(c) More than 2% of the country's export volumes: R16 500.00 + VAT.
3. B. Associate members pay a fixed annual fee of R8250.00 + VAT upon joining FPEF.
